NABTEB CERTIFICATES FOR 2017–2024 EXAMINATIONS NOW READY FOR COLLECTION (DETAILS)

Nabteb Certificates For 2017–2024 Examinations Now Ready For Collection.

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced that certificates for candidates who sat its examinations between 2017 and 2024 are now available for collection. The notice covers candidates who participated in the May/June and November/December examination series for National Business, National Technical and advanced-level qualifications.

Candidates who have not collected their certificates can now begin the process through the designated collection centres. However, the procedure depends on the examination series in which they participated.

NABTEB Certificates Available for Collection

The announcement covers certificates issued for the following examinations:

  • May/June National Business Certificate (NBC).
  • May/June National Technical Certificate (NTC).
  • November/December National Business Certificate (NBC).
  • November/December National Technical Certificate (NTC).
  • November/December Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC).
  • November/December Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC).

The collection notice applies to candidates who registered and took the relevant examinations from 2017 to 2024.

Where to Collect NABTEB Certificates

NABTEB has provided different collection arrangements for the two examination periods.

May/June examination candidates

Candidates who sat for the May/June NBC or NTC examinations should obtain their certificates from the school where they registered and wrote the examination.

November/December examination candidates

Those who participated in the November/December NBC, NTC, ANBC or ANTC examinations are expected to collect their certificates from the NABTEB office in the state where they registered and sat for the examination.

Candidates should identify the correct collection location based on their examination series before making arrangements to obtain their documents.

Requirements for Collecting NABTEB Certificates

Applicants must provide the required documents and identification when visiting their designated collection centre.

The following items are listed in the announcement:

  1. Valid means of identification: Examples include the National Identification Number (NIN) or a driver’s licence.
  2. Statement of Result or NABTEB online printout: This must contain the candidate’s examination details and is specifically required for November/December examination certificate collection.
  3. One passport photograph: The photograph must have a red-coloured background.
  4. Approved collection fee: A payment of ₦1,000 is required for November/December examination certificates, excluding applicable statutory online charges.

The ₦1,000 collection fee is specifically mentioned for November/December certificates. The announcement does not state a collection fee for May/June certificates, so candidates should not assume that the same payment requirement applies to both examination periods.

Important Notice on Eligibility for Collection

The board has restricted certificate issuance to genuine candidates who actually registered and participated in the examinations.

This means that certificates will only be released to the individuals legitimately entitled to them. Candidates should ensure that the identification and examination documents they present correspond with their records.

Statement from NABTEB Management

The announcement was signed by Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB.

Candidates who wrote the board’s examinations between 2017 and 2024 should use the stated collection arrangements to obtain their certificates. Those who took the May/June examinations should approach their registration schools, while November/December candidates should visit the appropriate NABTEB state office with the required documents.

Obtaining the certificate will enable successful candidates to have their official examination document in their possession for future academic or other purposes.
