National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved 10 full-time undergraduate degree programmes for Federal Polytechnic, Oko, in affiliation with Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The approved programmes, which will be offered at the Polytechnic’s Main Campus, are:
1. B.Sc. Accounting
2. B.Sc. Banking and Finance
3. B.Sc. Business Administration
4. B.Sc. Public Administration
5. B.Sc. Mass Communication
6. B.Sc. Computer Science
7. B.Eng. Electrical and Electronics Engineering
8. B.Sc. Biochemistry
9. B.Sc. Chemistry
10. B.Sc. Microbiology
The approval follows a successful resource verification exercise by the NUC and marks a significant milestone in the institution’s drive to expand access to quality university education.
